Hub residential and edge of care officer

The Hub is a welcoming residential children's home, and we're looking for dedicated individuals with residential experience to join us in making a real difference. Inspired by the No Wrong Door model, developed by North Yorkshire County Council, our approach has already transformed the lives of young people facing neglect and trauma-helping them overcome challenges and thrive using a family's first relational model
This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to gain valuable experience and training while supporting the Hub Portfolio Leads in delivering trauma informed care and tailored interventions for young people. You will play a vital role in guiding and supporting our young people to develop the skills they need to lead brighter futures. It's a demanding yet rewarding position, perfect for flexible, resilient, and positive applicants.

Your Role:
As a casual member of the team, you will work closely with young people and their families using creative tools and effective interventions.
Build strong, trusting relationships with vulnerable young people, becoming their anchor during life's toughest moments.
Commit to 24/7 rota, offering stability and support to foster problem-solving and essential life skills.You'll have the privilege of helping young people in Redcar & Cleveland at their most vulnerable, staying by their side and supporting them through crucial phases of their journey. All of this takes place at our beautifully refurbished Hub on the outskirts of Redcar-a former care home transformed into a beautiful residential children's home.
