HSE Manager

As Health & Safety Manager, you will champion and embed the UK Bus Health & Safety Management System across multiple garages and operational sites. You'll work closely with senior leaders and frontline teams to ensure safety is not just compliant - but proactive, embedded, and continuously improving.,

• Provide expert, authoritative H&S advice across the business
• Develop and implement site-specific safety management plans
• Conduct audits, inspections, and site visits to drive standards
• Interpret legislation and turn it into practical, actionable guidance
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis (including RIDDOR)
• Ensure full statutory compliance across all sites
• Deliver insightful performance reports to senior leadership
• Oversee training programmes and inductions
• Chair health, safety & environmental meetings
• Drive clear, engaging safety communication across the organisation
  
  To succeed in this role, you must have completed your NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 qualification). Essential:
• NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6) or equivalent - completed
• Proven experience in a multi-site, high-risk environment

Desirable:
• IOSH Membership (Chartered or working towards)
