Part-time (an average of three contact hours teaching per week during term times and associated duties), £8,683 per annum

One of the largest Colleges in the University of Oxford, with around 860 students, St Anne's is known for being down-to-earth, ambitious, outward facing and collaborative. We aspire to understand the world and change it for the better.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, talented lecturer able to undertake three contact hours a week of tutorial and/or small class teaching averaged over the three eight-week terms of the academic year 2026/27. Duties will include setting and marking written work, submitting reports on student progress, advising visiting students and arranging for their teaching, and providing assistance with undergraduate admissions if requested.

You will teach Pure Mathematics, and in particular: give classes and tutorials, mark students' weekly problem sheets to assess their progress, and provide guidance for improvement. Further information can be found in the Further Particulars.

Alongside a proven teaching ability, you will have good communication skills and be able to participate in pastoral and organisation tasks within the College.
