Full Job Description
Hull Poultry is entering an exciting new phase under refreshed site leadership and a revitalised working environment, and we're now seeking an experienced and forward-thinking HR Manager to play a key role in shaping our people agenda. Working closely with the site leadership team, you'll provide both strategic and hands-on HR leadership, supporting engagement, performance, and talent development across the site while aligning with wider Group priorities. This is a highly visible role offering real influence, impact, and opportunity to grow within Cranswick as the site continues to evolve.,
- Lead the delivery of a professional, compliant HR service that supports site performance and aligns with wider Group people priorities.
- Partner with site leadership and managers to provide trusted advice on employee relations, resourcing, engagement, and capability building.
- Use people data, KPIs, and feedback to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Shape talent, development, and succession plans to support long-term site capability.
- Lead and develop the site HR team, championing a high-performance, inclusive culture.
CIPD or proven HR experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within food production or manufacturing. - Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in supporting managers in areas like employee relations, performance, and engagement.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust across all levels of the business.
- Solid knowledge of employment law, recruitment, and ER, with the ability to handle complex HR issues.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach to driving HR improvements and supporting business success.
- A strong team player who works collaboratively across the business, builds positive and respectful relationships, and contributes to a high-trust, high-standards culture where people support one another and pull in the same direction.
