Full Job Description
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) has responsibility for managing generalist HR guidance and support to dedicated client groups across the UK and Ireland operations, contributing to the delivery of the Company's Business and HR Strategy. Acting as a key partner to the functional leadership and management teams, the HRBP will champion a culture of high performance and will assist with the design and development of commercially focused people solutions, supporting the continued business setup, operational integration, and rapid growth of the organisation. The role will enable our people managers by coaching and guiding them in the management of all employee relations matters and formal cases, ensuring consistency and fairness of approach across the organisation. Advice given will deliver a positive outcome for the business, whilst observing employment legislation, upholding Company values, and identifying and minimising risk. Main responsibilities: Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to business leaders and managers, supporting organisational growth, people planning and business transformation across Geely Auto UK and Ireland. Lead recruitment, workforce planning and organisational build activities across the business, partnering closely with leadership teams to support rapid business growth, capability development and future resource planning. Support both the UK and Ireland sales businesses, providing HR Business Partner support across multiple functions and ensuring people practices are aligned with local employment legislation, operational requirements and business priorities. Partner closely with leadership teams to support organisational design, team structure and operational effectiveness, ensuring organisational capability aligns with business priorities and growth plans. Provide pragmatic, commercially focused and hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle, balancing business needs, employee experience and risk management. Lead and manage employee relations matters including probation, performance management, disciplinary, grievance, absence management and wellbeing related cases, ensuring fair, compliant and consistent outcomes. Support managers in driving high performance, accountability and capability development across their teams through coaching, guidance and practical people solutions. Support succession planning and talent development initiatives to strengthen organisational capability and support future business growth. Use people data, organisational insights and workforce trends to support decision making, identify risks and improve business performance. Ensure HR policies, procedures and people practices remain compliant with UK and Ireland employment legislation and aligned with business needs and company culture. Contribute to wider HR and business projects across the UK and Ireland operations, supporting the establishment and development of a high-performing and collaborative organisation. Education, Skills and Personal characteristics required: Essential · Wide range of experience advising line managers on complex employee relations matters and organisational design across both UK and Ireland operations. · Experience supporting or establishing Ireland operations in a fast-paced business environment, including organisational setup, recruitment and people processes. · Professional and proactive approach to supporting managers through coaching and the provision of commercially focused HR advice that is prompt, practical and risk aware. · Excellent judgement in HR matters with a strong and up-to-date knowledge of UK and Ireland employment law and HR best practice. · Experience operating within a fast-paced and rapidly growing sales or commercial business environment. · Level 5 CIPD qualification Desirable · Previous experience of working with Trade Unions · Level 7 CIPD qualification or MCIPD What can we offer you beyond the salary:
