Grade: RCS K Contract Type: Fixed Term - 10 Months Location: Valley Cross and Ryton ( 2 sites and travel needed to both) Customer Contracts TEMEC We are looking for a HR Business Partner for a secondment to act as a trusted advisor to the business, supporting over 200 colleagues across two TEMEC sites. Working closely with leaders and managers, you will align HR initiatives to business objectives, helping to attract, develop and retain talented people while building a high-performing and engaged workforce. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support employee engagement, retention, performance and effective communication across sites.
- Support the employee relations agenda and leading key ER processes.
- Deploy business HR priorities, including labour flexibility, OMS, LPMC, payroll optimisation and terms and conditions standardisation.
- Provide HR support for start-ups, business wins, losses and TUPE transfers.
- Ensure robust support and guidance for employee performance management, including sickness, disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Partner with managers to develop and implement workforce planning solutions, including organisational design, resourcing forecasts, agency management and future talent planning.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
- Support the attraction, development and retention of talent through effective people management practices.
- Use people data and insights to identify trends, inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement across sites. WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Proven ability to build credible, trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Commercially minded with the ability to align people initiatives to business objectives.
- Experience in workforce planning, organisational design and talent management.
- Confident coaching and influencing managers to drive high performance and accountability.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
