Full Job Description
Coventry School Foundation is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to join our small, dedicated HR team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Senior HR Manager this is a varied and hands-on role that combines strategic business partnering with operational HR delivery. You will work closely with Headteachers and managers across the Foundation, providing expert advice and guidance on the full employee lifecycle, leading on complex employee relations matters, supporting organisational change, and helping to deliver people-focused initiatives that support the Foundation's strategic objectives.
As part of a collaborative HR team, you will also oversee the day-to-day operational delivery of HR services, including recruitment and onboarding, HR administration, workforce reporting and supporting payroll processes, ensuring a high-quality and responsive service is provided across the Foundation.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships, influencing managers, solving complex people issues and driving continuous improvement. You'll be comfortable working both strategically and operationally, able to manage competing priorities, and confident making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have substantial generalist HR experience, excellent knowledge of employment legislation, experience of managing complex employee relations cases, and the ability to coach and influence managers at all levels. A CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) is essential, together with excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
