Full Job Description

Provide support and timely administration as required to the HR Department and assist with the continual development of the HR function.Assisting in the recruitment process across all levels.The full starter process following recruitment to on-board new employees successfully. This will include, but will not be limited to:Creating Job profiles and updating Open HRIssuing welcome packs and updating systems with the relevant information and paperworkCarry out new starter inductionsCarrying out the new starter process with immigration checks, DBS checks, finance checks, reference checks and other relevant checks in relation to disclosuresEnsuring all training is completedResponsible for the certification process for new starters and ongoing certifications for significant harm functions and senior manager roles. This will include but not be limited to:Preparation, distribution and organisation of performance review processAll relevant checks including DBS and financeEnsuring qualifications data
is maintained and stored appropriatelyEnsuring all mandatory training records are provided by Compliance to show completionUpdating and distributing structure and organisation chartsFollowing through with Open HR alerts including DBS, finance checks, references, and training, performance reviews and bonus assessmentsOrganisation of Conduct Committee including, but not limited to diary arrangements, agenda setting, compiling required documentation and minute taking.Data Management and maintaining the HR database, ensuring records are accurate and kept up to date.Scanning and logging all contractual documents, job profiles and termination documents.Provide accurate and timely reports as and when required.Providing information to employees regarding a variety of HR issues, as above, and the Employee Handbook.Ensure updates are made to the SMCR policy handbook.Ensure relevant updates are made in the HR Core Framework Document in a timely manner.Assisting with the processing of Benefit
Schemes.Assisting with training and development initiatives.Ad hoc HR project work.Minute taking and typing when required.Maintain the Personnel filing.Archiving.Depending on experience & skills, there is the potential scope for development to take on and manage their own projects under the supervision of the HR Department.
Key skills, experience and competencies required to be successful in this role:
Confidentiality and trustworthiness is essential.Excellent at prioritising & organising daily schedule.Excellent Communications skills both verbally and written.Strong attention to detail.Approachable to all members of staff regardless of position.Good Microsoft Office skills.Good Literacy and Numeracy skills.Previous experience working in a similar role is advantageous.Ability to work on own initiative with minimal guidance.
