Share, As part of the People Team, you'll gain practical experience across the full employee lifecycle, supporting a wide range of People activities and building your knowledge and confidence as you progress. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues across different areas of HR, giving you a great introduction to how an effective People function supports employees, managers and the wider organisation. Alongside your day-to-day experience, you will:

• Complete a Level 3 HR Support apprenticeship qualification, supporting your longer-term development within the People profession.
• Gain practical experience across different stages of the employee lifecycle.
• Develop valuable and transferable skills in communication, organisation, customer service and teamwork.
• Gradually build your knowledge, confidence and level of responsibility.
• Develop a strong foundation for a future career in People/HR.
The role will be based primarily at our Gloucester campus, with the opportunity for some home working once you are established in the role. You'll work closely with the Senior People Coordinator and People Operations Lead, with plenty of support, guidance and opportunities to learn from colleagues across the wider People Team throughout your apprenticeship. Gloucestershire Professional Services (GPS) is looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice People Coordinator to join our established and supportive People Team at Gloucestershire College. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your first step into a career in People/HR, gaining hands-on experience within a busy and collaborative team while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification. You don't need any previous HR experience. We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable and keen to learn, with a genuine interest in working with people and developing a career within the People profession. You'll be comfortable communicating with a range of people, enjoy working as part of a team and bring a positive, can-do attitude to the role.
