Full Job Description
This role is required for a discreet piece of work to undertake benchmarking activity for a number of roles within GPA. This short term contingent labour support is required to bolster current capacity within the HR team during a particularly busy period in the pay and reward space, including an exceptional task relating to benchmarking for Recruitment and Retention Allowances (RRAs). The post holder will need to undertake benchmarking using available tools, based on agreed job descriptions and in line with GPA policy. They may need to work with line managers in some instances to understand any nuances of the roles. They will need to clearly document the approach taken and findings, be able to explain the benchmarking to relevant parties, and will provide an independent recommendation to the Head of HR Operations on the appropriate rate of RRAs for the relevant roles based on the outcome of the benchmarking. Using their experience from this exercise they will also support the Pay and Reward Lead in updating our internal documentation for benchmarking. Essential criteria: Previous experience of job evaluation and pay benchmarking Understanding of specialist finance and property roles Desirable criteria: Experience of pay and reward in the civil service
