Full Job Description

The HR Administrator will be a key point of contact for employees, managers and colleagues within People & Culture, supporting the effective delivery of HR processes across the employee lifecycle. The role will provide coordinated administrative support to the People & Culture function leads, helping to ensure that people services are organised, timely, confidential and customer-focused. The postholder will maintain accurate employee records, support recruitment and onboarding activity, coordinate learning and development administration, and assist with HR reporting, correspondence and day-to-day service delivery. What you'll be doing + Provide professional, timely and responsive administrative support across the People & Culture function. + Act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries, providing information within the scope of the role and escalating matters appropriately + Provide administrative support for employee-relations and general HR casework. + Prepare meeting invitations, agendas, packs, notes and correspondence for formal and informal meetings.. + Provide administrative support to Talent Acquisition throughout the recruitment process. + Coordinate vacancy approvals, requisitions, interview arrangements and candidate communications as appropriate. + Prepare and issue recruitment documentation, including interview invitations, assessment information and offer-related correspondence. + Support pre-employment checks, including references, right-to-work checks, identity verification and other required checks. + Provide administrative support to the Learning and Development function. + Enter, update and retrieve information from HR, recruitment and learning systems. + Handle sensitive and confidential information with tact, discretion and professionalism. + Maintain confidentiality in relation to employee records, recruitment information, health information and employee-relations casework., Our purpose is putting people and communities at the heart of our services and the safe homes we provide. + Experience working in an administrative, coordination or customer-service role, preferably within HR, People & Culture or a related function. + Experience maintaining accurate records and handling confidential or sensitive information. + Experience using databases, HR systems, recruitment systems or learning management systems is desirable + Experience producing documents, spreadsheets, reports and routine management information. + Experience working in a regulated, public-sector, social housing or similarly complex organisation is desirable + Experience working collaboratively as part of a busy team. + Understanding of the purpose and role of an HR or People & Culture function. + Basic understanding of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation, absence, performance, learning and leavers + Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint, or equivalent systems. + Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
