At Cranswick Gourmet Bacon, we are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our friendly HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting employees throughout their journey with the business while gaining valuable exposure across a wide range of HR activities. As a HR Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support across the employee lifecycle, helping to ensure a positive employee experience while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality in everything you do. What You'll Be Doing Working closely with the HR team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support across all HR functions
  • Managing and maintaining employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Preparing HR documentation, letters, contracts, and reports
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Assisting with employee engagement initiatives and company events
  • Updating and maintaining HR systems and databases
  • Supporting absence management and other employee-related processes
  • Responding to employee queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensuring confidential information is handled appropriately at all times
  • Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

  • To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • HR administration experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • A keen eye for detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
