Overall Job Purpose

The post holder will be providing comprehensive housing advice and support to residents who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, with a strong focus on prevention and early intervention. You will assess individual circumstances, explore all available housing options, and work proactively with customers and partner agencies to secure suitable accommodation. The role ensures the Council meets its statutory homelessness duties while delivering a responsive, compassionate and solution-focused service.

Please note that this role is fixed term for the purpose of maternity cover, therefore, there is no guarantee of the contract lasting the full 12 months.
