An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Housing Options Advisor to work across both the Acute and Community hospitals in North Northamptonshire. Our successful Health and Housing Partnership, involving the Council, Kettering General Hospital and Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, has been in place since 2017. complex needs to remain in their own home or to help them find an alternative housing solution. In addition, there will also be the opportunity to be involved in the delivery of preventative solutions through project work to help address the identified gaps in health and housing provision locally.About youYou will have experience of working within a local authority or equivalent organisation along with experience of working with or understanding of vulnerable people or those with complex needs.You will have a proven ability to work effectively with a variety of teams and structures, be able to work well under pressure and use your initiative to manage and prioritise your workload.To succeed in the role, you will have well developed negotiating and problem-solving skills in addition to excellent communication skills to provide advice and assistance to achieve positive outcomes.Please see the attached job description and person specification for full details
