Full Job Description

Reporting into our Director of Housing, this role will provide leadership for supported housing services across multiple locations across our North services, overseeing a team of Managers and ensuring high-quality, compliant, and financially sustainable service delivery. You will be responsible for overseeing a team who works closely with Residents to deliver effective tenancy sustainment; strengthen support plans, build positive relationships, and develop the skills needed for independent living. If you're an experienced Manager in Supported Housing who is passionate about leading teams, shaping services, and delivering high-quality, person-centred support, this role offers a meaningful next step in your career. The role Working between 4 sites in Mansfield, Ashfield, Worksop and Goole, you will lead from the front, providing excellent operational leaderships to your local teams. You will bring vibrant, passionate and technical knowledge to support at a senior level, helping to achieve compliance, meet quality standards and enhance Residents lives. You helicopter view of these services will give you a unique perspective to spot trends quickly, respond to local need and ensure consistency of service delivery across your region. We see this role falling into 4 distinct areas: Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and develop a team of Managers, driving consistently high standards.
  • Achieve key objectives for positive resident outcomes and tenancy sustainment.
  • Service Provision
  • Oversee daily operations to meet and exceed internal standards, regulatory requirements, Ofsted expectations, and Regulated
  • Housing Standards.
  • Encourage Resident involvement to strengthen engagement and outcomes.
  • Partnerships
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships and develop strategic partnerships, including with commissioned services and Ofsted.
  • Work collaboratively across the Senior Leadership Team and wider YMCA departments to improve processes and service delivery.
  • Financial Management
  • Oversee budgets, forecasting, and financial performance, ensuring sustainability and minimising voids., A UK driving license and access to your own car are required to travel between the four sites you will manage. Expect to be
  • "out and about" weekly, ensuring you are hands-on and visible within each of your teams.
  • Most importantly, you will care that everyone should have a fair chance to discover who they are and what they can become.
  • We envisage this role will be based between these 4 locations, with you managing your diary to respond to individual need and best use of your time. We are not here to micro-manage you, we trust you to be where you need to be, when you need to be there! There will also be a requirement to travel to Nottingham (where we have another Regional Team) and to Newark where meetings are held on a regular basis.   • Proven leadership experience in supported housing or residential childcare.
  • A strong understanding of the regulatory frameworks related to Ofsted and Regulator of Social Housing standards.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a Senior Leadership Team and internal departments.
  • Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
  • Commitment to safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults.
