Full Job Description
This role is key to supporting households placed in temporary accommodation and ensuring placements are well managed. You'll provide housing management services, liaise with providers, and work closely with colleagues, partners, and clients to ensure people are supported while their longer-term housing options are explored.
Key aspects include:
Managing temporary accommodation placements, ensuring suitability and safeguarding responsibilities are met.
Supporting clients with benefit claims, arrears, disputes, and other issues affecting their stay.
Carrying out property inspections and liaising with providers to maintain standards.
Working with clients who may have complex needs and ensuring placements are sustained where possible.
Contributing to service targets and continuous improvement.
