Salary: £28,598 - £31,022


Hours: Full-time


Location: Nelson, BB9 7LJ


Working pattern: Hybrid - 2 days remote

Summary


We are looking for a self-motivated and well organised individual for the post of Housing Needs Officer. You will be required to manage a caseload along with undertaking housing options / homelessness interviews and enquiries as required.


You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills especially to manage competing workloads at peak times.


A good working knowledge of Homelessness legislation is desirable though not essential, although extensive experience of working with assessment, providing housing advice and having a knowledge of welfare benefits is essential.
