Housing Duty Worker

As a Housing Duty Worker, you'll help keep our building running smoothly and be one of the first people residents see when they need support.

A typical shift could include:

- Welcoming residents and visitors

- Answering questions and helping people find the support they need

- Monitoring CCTV and building security

- Issuing keys and dealing with lost keys

- Completing simple administration tasks

- Reporting incidents and keeping records up to date

- Supporting fire safety checks

- Helping maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment

Most importantly, you'll be a positive presence for the young people living with us and help them feel safe, supported and respected.

We're looking for a friendly, reliable and caring people to join our Supported Housing team, helping young people aged 16-24 who live in our accommodation in Ashfield.

You don't need previous housing experience. If you've got the right attitude, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed., You might be perfect for this role if you:

- Enjoy working with people from different backgrounds

- Stay calm under pressure

- Are confident dealing with difficult situations

- Can work independently as well as part of a team

- Have good common sense and use your initiative

- Are reliable, honest and trustworthy

- Want to make a real difference in people's lives

Previous experience in housing or support work is helpful, but it's not essential.

We welcome applications from people looking to start a career in housing with previous experience in youth work, support work, customer service, security, care, hospitality or similar roles - previous experience of working or helping others is highly beneficial,
