Housekeeping Assistant

At St Peter & St James Hospice, we believe in providing exceptional care and support to those affected by life-limiting illnesses. As Housekeeping Assistant, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across our hospice, ensuring a safe and comforting space for patients, families, and staff.,

• Cleaning patient rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and offices to a high standard.
• Using a variety of cleaning methods and equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensuring waste is disposed of correctly and infection control procedures are followed.
• Maintaining patient dignity and privacy at all times.
• Supporting the wider team in creating a warm, respectful, and inclusive environment.

• Good literacy, numeracy, and understanding of health and safety.

• Organised and able to work to deadlines.
  
  Salary: £14,914 - £15,101 pro rata (£24,856 - £25,168 Full-time equivalent)
• Working hours: 22.5 hour a week over 5 days (4.5 hours an afternoon)
• Contract Type: Permanent part time
