The Morewood Centre is a short break centre for up to ten people with a Learning Disability and/or Autism. Our home is in the middle of the beautiful Alfreton Park. Our mission is to provide a stimulating and enjoyable environment which people look forward to returning to.
The Role
We are seeking a caring, dedicated individual to join our team as a Housekeeper. The position is a combination of both domestic tasks and cooking, being able to multi task is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete cleaning tasks to a good standard and complete all associated paperwork.
- Be able to cook to a good standard.
- Have an understanding of IDDSI levels.
- Maintain accurate records (such as opening/closing tasks, fridge/freezer temperature, cooked food temperatures).
- Working as part of a valued care team you'll be ensuring our clients stay happy, healthy and well.
About You
- Experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential - full training will be provided.
- Level 3 Food Hygiene (training will be provided to the right person).
- A kind, compassionate approach with a passion for supporting people with a Learning Disability and/or Autism.
