Full Job Description

  • Cleaning and maintaining a wide range of areas within the building
  • Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
  • Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
  • Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
  • Emptying and disposing of bin waste
  • Ensuring all areas are clean, presentable and safe for visitors by following the required policies and procedures
  • Following all health & safety guidelines when using equipment

    We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates for the position of Housekeeper at Goodenough College
    • You will work as part of the team in a fast-paced environment striving to achieve the highest standards of room cleanliness at all times. You will work proactively to ensure guest satisfaction and the smooth running of the housekeeping department. The successful candidate will be organised, punctual and efficient. You will also have excellent attention to detail and can effectively meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high-quality service. Housekeeping duties include physical activities which will involve lifting, carrying, and manual handling, as well as the ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods.,
  • Have cleaning experience in a similar role
  • Be passionate about customer service
  • Effectively communicate with customers and other team members
  • Be able to work individually and as part of a team
  • Have a flexible approach to working
