Full Job Description
Hatton ward is a busy surgical admission ward with patients from Urology, General surgery and ENT.
We are a friendly team and the Housekeeper is an important role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ordering and managing stock and Stationary and maintain a clean working environment
There is a requirement to support with answering the ward telephone during ward rounds, use Integra for ordering, and maintain compliance: for example oxygen and suction checking, PAT test dates , commode leaning and maintaining a clean ward.
Hatton ward is audited for cleaning, nursing and estates Issue which the Housekeeper is involved in resolving the issues raised.
There is also some admin duties involving Lorenzo., To support nursing staff in the delivery and co-ordination of patient requirements. The post holder will work part of the ward team ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment for the patient.
