Housekeeper Emergency Department

An exciting opportunity is available for a housekeeper within our emergency department and clinical decision unit.

We are looking for a housekeeper to work 30 hours a week, this will be weekdays and exclude bank holidays and weekends.

Main duties of the job

You will be required to work alongside the teams and with our partners to ensure adequate stock levels for a safe service delivery and high standards of cleanliness in line with infection control requirements.

You will be required to work alongside stores, clinical staff, catering, laundry, porters, facilities and estates to facilitate the needs of the department and our patients., 1. Improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from black, Asian, and ethnic minorities background, identify as LGBTQ+ and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development
2. Widening access (anchor institution) and employability
3. Improving the experience of staff with disability
4. Improving the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development
5. Making equalities mainstream

You will need to be friendly, approachable and have excellent problem solving skills.
