Housekeeping within a hospital environment, COSHH, health & safety within the workplace and infection control would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.The ideal candidate will need to have the ability to adapt to an ever changing health care environment. You will need to be organised and have experience of working in a busy service and environment where you would be required to prioritise workloads according to schedules and service needs.There are development opportunities for people with good organisational and communication skills and a good knowledge of delivering a quality service to patients, relatives and members of staff.We offer excellent staff terms and conditions including enhanced rates of pay for weekend work, opportunity to join an excellent pension scheme, 28 annual leave days plus 8 bank holidays. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.,
- Good customer care and verbal communication skills Patient focused Ability to work without direct supervision, NVQ level 1 or 2 cleaning certificate or comparable cleaning certificate COSHH trained Health and Safety knowledge preferably within a NHS health environment, Ability to speak Welsh Current clean driving licence, Good numeracy and literacy education Able to communicate clearly Commit to flexible working, Good general knowledge of cleaning techniques within a housekeeping and catering environment, Able to take personal responsibility for actions Reliable Respect clients privacy, dignity and confidentially, Ability to attend all UHB sites Able to work various hours Will be required to work bank holidays and weekends., Experience of working in a health care environment Current or recent experience in clinical/domestic waste handling
