The U.S. Mission in the United Kingdom is looking for a reliable, organised, and service-focused Housekeeper to join our team at the U.S. Embassy Annex at RAF Croughton.

This is an opportunity to do more than housekeeping. You'll help create a positive first impression for Embassy employees and their families, ensuring that temporary accommodation is ready, welcoming, and equipped for those arriving at an important moment in their journey.

As part of our housing team, you'll help make that transition easier. You'll take pride in knowing that the work you do behind the scenes directly contributes to the experience of the people we support.

What You'll Bring

• Confident communicating clearly, both verbally and in writing


• Able to identify what needs attention and take action rather than waiting to be asked


• Comfortable handling physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg)

You'll also need at least two years' experience in residential or commercial housekeeping as part of a team, together with a general understanding of housekeeping health and safety practices.

Your work will help keep our temporary accommodation and housing support services running smoothly. You'll prepare accommodation for new arrivals, help ensure essential supplies are available, support the preparation of arrival and departure kits, and work with colleagues and contractors when needed.
