Housekeeper

Work as a member of the Estates & Facilities Team in all areas of the site. Facilities Assistants will be expected to demonstrate a flexible attitude to their work to meet the needs of the service. Maintains a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness, as defined within the National Specification of Cleanliness. Prepares and presents patient meals and beverages in inpatient areas in accordance with Food Hygiene procedures. The Estates & Facilities department provides a cleaning and catering service across all GHCsites to include non-patient and inpatient areas. The aim of the department is to provide a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff and visitors and to contribute to preventing and reducing the spread of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAIs).
