Stevenson and Shakesphere Ward are looking for a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team to support us maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our patient's staff and visitors.
This is the ideal role for someone who takes pride in there work, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness across clinical and non clinical environments. You will join a supportive team making a difference in peoples day to day experiences.
Experience in housekeeping or cleaning particularly in a hospital or healthcare environment would be an advantage but it's not essential, what matters most is your enthusiasm and attention to detail to support maintaining the highest standards.
The successful post holder will be expected to work 37.5 hours across the working week Monday - Friday.

romy.ireton @lscft.nhs.uk, The Post Holder will, under supervision and at the direction of a 1st level Registered Nurse, work to maintain individuality of service users by assisting in tasks to meet the individual patient needs as determined by the Nursing Team. Maintain an adequate provision of flat linen, window and door curtains and be responsible for the cleanliness of these. Monitor fitness for general purpose of ward environment and ensure regulations are followed to comply with the environmental audit works issues. Monitor food and diet to service users. Liaise with contractors and support service departments.
The post holder will be responsible for the co ordination of all patient and staff facilities within the ward environment, ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
To establish a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere and environment for patients, visitors and staff.
To assist in monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards on the ward, highlighting any decencies of service in particular toilet/bathing areas.
To ensure spillage's (non clinical) are dealt with swiftly and efficiently.
To undertake regular monitoring of current and outstanding estates issues, including reporting of work to be undertaken and ensuring follow up in line with the agreed procedure.
To liaise with staff, following discharge of a patient, the bed area is cleaned in preparation for new patient., Please note that further communication from LSCFT will normally be to the email address given on the application form.
