Working as part of the Housing & Head OfficeTeam across various sites in the FY8 postcode. The role will consist of general cleaning duties in communal areas and meeting rooms as required. Daily housekeeping and cleaning duties, at one site 2 hours per week Monday to Friday. Report any maintenance issues and allow access to workmen. As a Housekeeper what does the role entail: Your day will consist of … 1. Work as part of the housing & head office team under the direction of the Housing Manager. 2. Carry out general cleaning duties in communal areas and meeting rooms as required, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout. 3. Carry out deep cleaning and preparation when required for void properties. 4. Follow a reporting procedure regarding maintenance and equipment 5. Allow access to workmen and repair services. 6. Ability to work under own initiative. 7. Can be flexible and prioritise workload when required.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements of the job and the Centre as indicated by the Centre Policies and Procedures. Read and accept all risk assessments of equipment
You have previous cleaning experience in a domestic or workplace setting. - You have a good standard of education to G.C.S.E level or equivalent, with grade C or above - or equivalent in Mathematics and English.
- You have good communication skills both written and verbal.
- You have great attention to detail and take pride in delivering a quality cleaning service.
- You are a confident team worker who can work on their own initiative or work as part of a team.
- Can be flexible and prioritise workload as needed between buildings as and when necessary. Successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
