Full Job Description

  • Managing a team of support staff, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring compliance and best practice
  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence and wellbeing
  • Developing and implementing independence plans, safeguarding practices, and progression targets
  • Acting as a role model and mentor for both young people and team members
  • Coordinating shift planning, performance monitoring, team development, and budget management
  • Conducting audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance checks

    · 1+ year of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • · 2+ years of experience in Health and Social Care, ideally with children and or young adults · Ability to lead and motivate a team while fostering a safe and inclusive environment · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Confident in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) · Deep knowledge of safeguarding, supported accommodation regulations, and care frameworks · Strong planning, delegation, and organisational abilities · Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins · Full UK Driving Licence · Willingness to complete relevant qualifications within required timescales Desirable: · Level 3 or 5 qualification in Health & Social Care or Management - ideally in Childrens Residential Care · Financial planning experience or budget management responsibility,
