Full Job Description

The House Administrator will provide effective administrative support to the Housemaster or Housemistress and the wider House team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the House. Duties will include maintaining accurate pupil and House records, managing correspondence and general enquiries, coordinating diaries, visits and events, preparing documents and reports, ordering supplies, and liaising professionally with pupils, parents, staff and external contacts. The postholder will handle sensitive information with discretion and support the House's pastoral and operational routines.

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills, strong attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office. They will be able to manage competing priorities, work independently, maintain confidentiality and build positive working relationships across the School community.

The post is temporary for 12.5 hours per week during term time plus 2 weeks. The working pattern is to be agreed and can be discussed at interview.
