Hotel Services Domestic / Portering Assistant, Northwich Victoria

An exciting part time opportunity has arrived to join the domestic team at Victoria Infirmary, Northwich incorporating the new Cheshire & Merseyside Surgical Centre.

Being a Hospital Domestic / Porter can be a very demanding, fast paced role. You will be expected to clean all areas - clinical and non clinical - within the Main Hospital site and this may also include the Surgical Centre theatres, clinic rooms, waiting rooms and high risk areas to a very high standard. You will also assist with the transfer of patients / deliveries between the hospital's departments., To provide a professional cleaning service in public, patient and staff areas in compliance with NHS guidance for standards of cleanliness and in association with departmental/managers, housekeepers and supervisors, to ensure the delivery of a quality, patient focused service.You will also assist with the transfer of patients / deliveries between the hospital's various departments.

You will need to be hard working, reliable and a great team player.

You will need to be flexible and may occasionally be asked to travel at short notice between other sites belonging to the Trust to assist with the changing demands of the service.
