Hostess - Sette

Situated within Bvlgari Hotel London, Sette is a destination restaurant inspired by the relaxed elegance of New York's iconic dining scene, combined with refined Italian heritage and impeccable service. Located in Knightsbridge on the edge of Hyde Park, Sette delivers a sophisticated yet welcoming experience for a discerning international clientele. We are seeking a polished and confident Host / Hostess to join the Sette restaurant team and act as the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. As Host / Hostess, you will welcome guests with warmth, professionalism and discretion, managing reservations and table allocations to ensure a smooth, seamless flow of service. You will work closely with the restaurant management and Front Office teams to anticipate guest needs, maximise reservations opportunities and maintain the refined standards synonymous with both Sette and the Bvlgari brand. This role requires poise, attention to detail and a natural ability to connect with guests, ensuring each visit begins with a positive and lasting impression. Your Role

• Welcoming and seating guests in a warm, confident and professional manner
• Managing reservations and table allocations to optimise both guest experience and business flow
• Handling telephone enquiries and reservations with courtesy and efficiency
• Maintaining accurate guest profiles and booking records
• Liaising closely with restaurant management, Concierge and Front Office teams
• Supporting guests with coats and personal belongings
• Monitoring guest feedback and assisting with queries or concerns
• Ensuring the reception and dining areas are well presented at all times
• Assisting with service support and operational duties when required
  
  You will have previous experience as a Host / Hostess, ideally within a luxury restaurant, fine-dining or five-star hotel environment. Immaculate presentation, strong organisational skills and a calm, personable manner are essential.
You will communicate confidently, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and remain composed in a fast-paced service environment. An interest in food and beverage, along with sales awareness and teamwork, will support your success in this role.
