Host / Hostess - Well founded group - London

Temper Soho is looking for a confident, friendly and well-presented Host/Hostess to join our front-of-house team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you'll play an important role in creating a warm welcome and ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly. You'll manage reservations, organise the seating plan and communicate closely with the management and floor teams.,

• Welcoming and seating guests
• Managing reservations, walk-ins and the waiting list
• Operating OpenTable and maintaining an organised seating plan
• Answering telephone and guest enquiries
• Communicating special requests and occasions to the team
• Supporting smooth table turns during busy services
• Maintaining a professional and welcoming entrance area
• Delivering excellent hospitality from arrival to departure
  
  Is confident, personable and naturally welcoming
• Remains calm and organised in a busy restaurant
• Has strong communication and customer-service skills
• Takes pride in their appearance and professionalism
• Works well as part of a team
• Is available to work evenings and weekends
• Has previous hosting or restaurant experience; OpenTable experience is an advantage
