The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, a friendly and welcoming demeanour, and a passion for the hospitality industry.Responsibilities:Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant, providing a warm and friendly welcomeManage reservations and seating arrangements, ensuring that guests are seated in a timely and efficient mannerAnswer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding menu items, reservations, and other restaurant-related questionsProvide guests with information about the restaurant and its offerings, including menus, specials, and promotionsHandle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous mannerMaintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring that menus and promotional materials are stocked and readily availableWork closely with restaurant staff to ensure a seamless guest experiencePerform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and scheduling appointments as neededRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service roleExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyA friendly and welcoming demeanor with a passion for providing exceptional customer serviceKnowledge of basic computer applications such as MS Office and reservation management software is preferred (Sevenrooms).
