hospitality and food & beverage service across Wellington CollegeSupervise hospitality events, formal dinners, receptions, conferences, and special occasionsEnsure all functions are prepared, presented, and delivered to the highest possible standardLiaise with clients before and after events to ensure expectations are exceededMonitor event standards continuously to maintain Sodexo and client expectationsEnsure all hospitality areas, service equipment, and hardware are clean, organised, and event-readyAssist with stock ordering, stock management, and drinks controlLeadership & Team ManagementLead, motivate, engage, and develop the hospitality teamDeliver pre-event briefings and ensure teams are fully prepared for servicePromote a positive, professional, and collaborative working cultureProvide coaching, feedback, and support to team membersRole model excellent supervisory behaviours and high service standardsBusiness ImprovementConstantly seek innovative and creative ways to improve
service deliverySupport continuous improvement and operational excellenceAssist with hospitality administration including emails, function sheets, KX entries, and costingsProactively solve problems and anticipate operational challenges before they ariseWhat you'll BringWe're looking for an enthusiastic hospitality professional with strong people skills, leadership ability, and a genuine passion for premium service.Essential:Previous experience within hospitality, catering, events, or food service environmentsStrong leadership and team supervision skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-moving hospitality operationKnowledge of food safety, allergen management, COSHH, and HACCP proceduresComputer literate with confidence handling hospitality administrationPositive attitude with a proactive and solutions-focused mindsetFlexibility to support business needs and occasional unsociable
