Introduction

An opportunity to complete a fully funded Degree Apprenticeship across 3 years with Red Carnation Hotels, in partnership with the University of Gloucestershire. Complete a Degree whilst gaining practical operational experience in luxury hotels in the hospitality industry.

What You'll Do

Reception

  • Welcoming guests and completing check-ins/check-outs
  • Handling guest enquiries
  • Processing reservations and amendments
  • Supporting VIP arrivals
  • Managing guest requests and complaints
  • Using hotel property management systems

Housekeeping

  • Conducting room inspections
  • Supporting room attendants
  • Monitoring quality standards
  • Managing guest requests
  • Learning inventory and linen control processes

Restaurant

  • Greeting and serving guests
  • Taking orders
  • Setting up dining areas
  • Delivering food and beverages
  • Maintaining service standards
  • Building menu and product knowledge

Bar

  • Preparing and serving beverages
  • Supporting bar operations
  • Engaging with guests
  • Learning stock control procedures
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards


Training Outcome

The opportunity of an exciting junior management position at the end of your programme, in the location of your choice, subject to availability.

Working Arrangements

Working Week: 32 hours hotel operational work, plus 8 hours per week on a study day. Monday - Sunday. Weekend and evening shifts.

Expected Duration: 4 Years
