From preparing and presenting food for hospitality events to setting up service areas and ensuring everything is clean and ready for guests, you'll play an important part in delivering an excellent experience. About the Role As a Hospitality Food Service Assistant, you'll support the delivery of hospitality and catering events across the site. You'll help prepare food and refreshments, set up and present food displays, support the smooth running of hospitality events and ensure all areas are left clean, tidy and ready for the next service. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll help deliver a professional and welcoming service while maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety. What You'll Do
- Assist with the preparation of food and refreshments for hospitality events and functions.
- Set up hospitality areas, including food displays, service stations and refreshments.
- Present and replenish food and beverages to a high standard.
- Support the delivery and smooth running of hospitality events.
- Clear down event and service areas once functions have finished.
- Ensure kitchen, hospitality and dining areas are kept clean, tidy and organised.
- Wash and store equipment appropriately.
- Assist with deliveries and ensure stock and supplies are stored correctly.
- Follow all food hygiene, allergen, health and safety procedures.
- Provide a friendly, professional and helpful service to guests, colleagues and visitors.
- Work flexibly as part of the wider catering and hospitality team
A positive and reliable attitude - Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise tasks
- Previous catering or food service experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided
