Hospitality Coordinator

The role: You will assist the Hospitality Manager with the coordination and delivery of House and School events, as well as broader catering operations across the school. Working collaboratively with Catering colleagues and other departments, you will help ensure hospitality services are delivered efficiently, professionally, and with a strong focus on customer experience. You will also be responsible for managing and serving the Fieldhouse Club Bar during the cricket season and will provide operational support across all catering areas, including the Dining Hall, when required. The skills: You will enjoy taking a hands-on approach to the role and will bring experience of working in a front-line, customer-facing and fast-paced environment. You will have strong organisational and IT skills, with the ability to work effectively both in the Catering office and across School venues. The environment: Harrow School is situated within a beautiful site in Harrow on the Hill, northwest London, and is one of the best-known schools in the world, with around 830 boys studying at Harrow. The School's Catering Department has over 60 staff led by the Head of Catering, the Catering Manager and the Executive Head Chef, supported by various chefs and kitchen porters. The team produces over 3,000 meals per day during term time and over 25,000 packed meals per year. The School also caters for sports teas, open days, parents' meetings, departmental dinners, working lunches, and provides high-end hospitality for events such as wedding receptions and conferences.

Working weeks: This is a term time only role, working 33 weeks per year.
Working hours: Average of 40 per week, 5 days out of 7 across a 3-week rota including evenings and weekends. Split shifts may be required
