Full Job Description

We are recruiting 1 new role for a position at Team Leader at Scunthorpe General Hospital This is a contracted position, working a two week rota. This role is flexible, designed to coordinate and lead the activities of a Team Leader. The team provides and maintains a full range of Hospital support Assistants & deep clean services, ensuring at all times the highest levels of cleanliness . The staff need to have the proper training, materials and equipment to provide the highest quality service and are compliant with Trust Policy and Procedure. Whilst a comprehensive training package will give you the skills and knowledge to work effectively as a HSA Team Leader, we want to learn from your application how you can meet the minimum of the essential criteria in our person specification, and perhaps even exceed this minimum standard. We support the continuous development of our staff so regular refreshers of training take place. Developmental and mandatory training will be required, which on occasion may fall during non-working days due to shift patterns, for which you will receive either time off in lieu or additional pay., The main duties of this role include:

  • Managing a team of Hospital Support Assistants/Deep Clean Assistants
  • Managing and maintaining rotas
  • Ensuring staff training is up-to-date
  • Covering all areas if and when needed to support HSA role
  • Maintaining the highest possible standards of compassionate and professional patient care with particular attention to privacy and dignity.
  • Working to the National Standards of Cleanliness
  • Managing staff annual leave
  • Auditing all area
  • Completing sickness return to works with staff
  • Training
