Passionate about horticulture? Join us as an Apprentice Grounds Person! Help transform our wonderfully diverse site, developing our allotment, trees, & veg garden, pond & nature area; whilst maintaining all of the extensive fields and hedgerows. You'll play a hands-on role in making our grounds the best they can be. Ready to dig in?

About the Employer

We are a Nursery and Primary School in the heart of Ash, with a growing population, currently 1 form and growing to 2 year on year.

What You'll Do

• Manage the whole site
• Maintain the grass areas
• Develop class gardens
• Expand the allotment
• Diversify the pond
• Work alongside children to improve their skills and knowledge
• Keep paths and walkways clear from vegetation

Working Arrangements

Working Week: Number of Hours: 36 (1 day for training each week of term time) Lunch break length: 20 mins Start Time: This is flexible 8.30-9.30am Finish Time: This is flexible to time started 3.30-4.30pm Days TBC.
