Home to School Transport Entitlement Assessor

This role is within Warwickshire County Council's Home to School Transport Service in the Eligibility and Entitlement Team. The team acts as the first point of contact for home to school travel assistance and works closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role

The post holder will support parents with applications and enquiries and assess eligibility in line with Council policy and statutory guidance, ensuring a fair and consistent service for all pupils.

Working collaboratively with schools, parent/carers, professionals, and Transport Delivery colleagues, the role also contributes to service improvements, supports delivery plan objectives, and assists with home to school transport appeals.

The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
