Home Manager

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Home Manager to lead our residential care home team. As a Home Manager at Akari Care, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care, enhancing the well-being of our residents, championing personalised care. You will lead our team, creating an environment that promotes dignity and independence, striving for excellence through the highest standards of care. The right candidate will be pragmatic in their approach and be able to balance running a caring and empathetic home alongside achieving business results.,

• Leadership Support: To providing strong and effective leadership our Colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence, compassion, and continuous improvement.
• Operational Management: Helping oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with all Akari Care and regulatory standards.
• Quality Care: Ensuring the delivery of exceptional care meeting the individual needs of each resident, promoting their well-being and dignity.
• Team Development: Supporting the recruitment, training and development of Colleagues. Including the mentoring of the team, fostering a supportive and motivated work environment.
• Care oversight: Ensuring resident care plans reflect their current needs and are kept under review, working with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure any changes or concerns are addressed promptly.
• Communication: Maintenance of clear and accurate records of care to be provided and communicate effectively with residents, families, and Colleagues.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the home adheres to all relevant regulations and standards, implementing policies and procedures that promote safety and quality care.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, Colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication.
  
  Minimum of a Level 5 NVQ in Leadership and Management
• Experience of working in the health care sector at home management level.
• Highly driven individual, with exceptional personal motivation and belief in quality of care.
• Strong leadership skills and management qualities with a dynamic and flexible approach to the role.
