Full Job Description
As a Home Care Worker, you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.
No two days are the same, but your role may include:
Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
Offering companionship and emotional support
Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support
Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care
Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team
Walking or travelling between clients' homes across Leyland, Bamber Bridge, Penwortham, Lostock Hall and surrounding communities
Most importantly, you'll make a meaningful difference to people's lives every day.

Living in Leyland (PR25 & PR26), Bamber Bridge (PR5), Penwortham (PR1), Lostock Hall (PR5), Preston (PR1 & PR2) or within a reasonable travelling distance
Previous care experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided.

£13.45 - £13.70 per hour
£125 Welcome Bonus (T&Cs apply)
Paid Mileage Between Care Calls (Drivers)
Flexible Hours (7am-10pm, Monday-Sunday)

We're looking for caring, compassionate and reliable female Home Care Workers to join our team supporting people across Leyland (PR25 & PR26), Bamber Bridge (PR5), Penwortham (PR1), Lostock Hall (PR5) and surrounding areas. Both walking and driving shifts are available.

Important Information Before You Apply
We currently have female walking and driving shifts available across Leyland, Bamber Bridge and Penwortham.
Due to the nature of the care provided, this role is open to female applicants only under the Equality Act 2010.
Walking Positions
No driving licence required
Able to travel between service users within your local area
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working independently in the community
Driving Positions
Hold a full UK driving licence
Have access to your own vehicle
Be able to travel throughout the PR1, PR5, PR25 and PR26 areas
Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place
