Holidays Maintenance Assistant - Wadebridge

We are looking for a Holidays Maintenance Assistant for North Cornwall Holidays., Working alongside our Team Leaders, you will support the Holidays Operation Team in the delivery of our growing holidays business.

What you'll be doing

Working alongside our Team Leaders, you will support the Holidays Operation Team in the delivery of our growing holidays business.

As the Holidays Maintenance Assistant, you'll assist with the day-to-day cleanliness and presentation of the National Trust's buildings and outdoor spaces, which includes planned buildings maintenance, reactive repairs and compliance checks.

You'll turn your practical hand to all sorts of minor maintenance issues ensuring all our holidays cottages are kept in good working order. You'll also be asked to help with some manual work such as unloading deliveries. Duties such as minor maintenance, repairs, decorating and painting will form a core part of the role, both inside and outdoors.

You'll ensure the highest standards of customer service across the area by always implementing a 'customer comes first' attitude. General maintenance work and helping within other teams will also form part of your role.

Able to carry out minor maintenance, repairs, painting and decorating tasks to keep our holiday cottages in good working order

Able to demonstrate an awareness of Health & Safety and Compliance

Committed to delivering excellent customer service with a clear 'customer comes first' approach

Happy to work as part of a team and have good communication skills

Physically able to undertake manual work, including unloading deliveries and are willing to commute to remote properties

Hours: This role is based on 910 annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. 17.5 hours per week or roughly 3 days a week with agreed non-working days., Prepared to work alongside different teams, support wider operations and help with general manual tasks as needed
