Full Job Description
We're looking for Holiday Cottage Cleaners to prepare our popular 12 holiday cottages stretching from Marconi's Wireless Cottage on Lizard Point to our rural farmstead Honor's House near Zennor. Not forgetting our manor house, Godolphin and the other wide variety of unique properties that are in our care., Our cottages offer experiences that cannot be found elsewhere. We pride ourselves in our high presentation and cleaning standards, whilst maintaining our great compliance and safety records across our portfolio from two person cosy retreats to vast mansion houses. You would become part of our close knit, friendly and supportive Holidays Team here in Lizard & Penrose and West Cornwall working solo and as part of a team. On changeover days, you'll make sure that everything's pristine and ready for the next guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well-presented and welcoming. We'd also like you to keep an eye out for anything that's not as it should be, and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing. Good communication skills are essential. If you need to, you'll also replace any broken items from the store supplies. Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided for all teams, and extra measures are in place to protect staff. We'd love to hear from you if you're:
- focused on giving great service to everyone you meet
- a team player, but also happy to work on your own initiative
- well-organised and adaptable
- willing to learn new skills.
