Holiday Camp Assistant - Wantage, Oxfordshire

We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Holiday Camp Coaches to deliver engaging, multi-activity sessions for children during school holidays. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young people, promote physical activity, and create memorable camp experiences in a safe and supportive environment. As an Camp Assistant, you will support the delivery of recreational sports, games, and team-building activities, ensuring every child feels included, confident, and motivated to participate. Elite Sport Activities we offer include Nerf Wars, Laser Tag, Parachute Games, Bubble Football, Inflatable Fun, Orienteering, Glow in the dark Dodgeball, Crazy Golf and Soft Archery. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

• Support the daily schedule of Sports, Elite Activities and arts and crafts
• Encourage different age groups and abilities to participate
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
• Foster a positive, encouraging and energetic camp atmosphere
• Support behaviour management in line with camp policies
• Work collaboratively with peers and camp leadership
• Assist with daily set up, pack down and general camp duties
  
  Confident leading group activities and sports sessions
• Energetic, reliable and positive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and child safety.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
• At least 1 Years experience working with children in a similar environment / childcare, school or coaching capacity.
• Level 2 NGB Sports Coaching or BTEC or A Level Sport or childcare qualifications or working towards.
• An up-to-date Enhanced DBS certificate on the DBS update service (can be applied for)
• Safeguarding Certificate (training can be given)
