This is an exciting opportunity to join Gordon's School, one of the most successful schools in England, as a Hockey Coach from September 2026. Sport is an integral part of the School's vision to be the best non-selective school in England and amongst the finest schools in the world. Academic success will gain young people their first job, or place at University; but it is the character acquired on the games field and in other co-curricular activities which will sustain them through life. With more than 90 teams, the School plays annually over 600 fixtures, across more than 20 sports. Many teams compete at National level. We are seeking a highly motivated and inspirational Hockey Coach to work co-operatively with the Head of Hockey, and the rest of the PE department. You will typically coach up to 8 hours per week, 4pm to 5pm Monday to Thursday and Saturday mornings and / or afternoons. The successful candidate will have experience of playing hockey to a high level, including experience of coaching within schools, clubs, the England pathway or a super league franchise, and will have excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate others.
