ROLE: General Maintenance OperativeHOURS: 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri with shift rota and call-out requirements)LOCATION: HMP Millsike, North Yorkshire, At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a General Maintenance Operative who will support the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance within a secure custodial environment at HMP Millsike.
Role Responsibilities:
-The role involves completing planned and reactive maintenance and monitoring of all prison fabric within scope.
-You will conduct tasks in compliance with Company Safety Policy, Procedures, relevant Codes of Practice, NR, and Statutory Regulations, ensuring adherence to the Company's and Clients' Permit to Work Systems.
-You will liaise with engineers and subcontractors, develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of site engineering services, and support best working practices.
-You must complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, coordinate connections to existing plant/systems, and use and maintain O&M Manuals and quality procedures.
Previous relevant experience providing general maintenance services in a large, complex environment.
-Basic to intermediate IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, with experience updating central data systems.
