Location: Bristol, Bristol


Salary: BG9 - £33,119 - £35,570 (pro rata)


Contract Type: Fixed term contract

Air Balloon Hill Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant for our alternative SEND provision.


The post supports and complements the SEND team by delivering agreed learning activities for a group of SEND pupils with EHCPs. You would be working in collaboration with the Inclusion team in an alternative SEND provision within the school.


Do you have experience working with children with autism and complex needs and an understanding of early learning and child development?


Are you well organised, proactive and able to lead and inspire others to deliver high quality provision?


Can you demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to support SEND pupils and promote inclusion?


This position is fixed term until the 31st August 2027 (pending a review of the staffing structure), 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday - Term time only.


Salary to be paid on the Bristol Grade 9 scale


Starting date: Immediate start


Closing Date for Applications: 12 noon on Friday 16th October


Interview date: Monday 19th October
