Salary - Kite pay Band 2 £23,859 - £29,848 FTE (£14,691 - £18,379 pro-rata)

Part-time / 26 hours / 4 days per week / 8:30am - 3:30pm / 39 weeks per year including INSET days

We are looking to appoint a HLTA who:

• Is highly motivated to support children, including those with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), to make progress and fulfil their potential.


• Has experience of classroom support, preferably including working with children who have SEND.


• Has a wider interest in working with children, young people and their parents and carers both inside and outside the classroom.

You should have:

• Good levels of literacy and numeracy (GCSE Maths and English grade C or equivalent)


• HLTA or learning support qualifications are welcomed but not essential, or a willingness to undertake appropriate training (support will be provided)


• Interest in outdoor learning


• A high degree of initiative and sound judgement when working with children and young people


• Experience of helping children to achieve their full social and academic potential
